Yesterday I spent 11 hours in the library. I think my brain turned to scrambled eggs by the time I left. I also should mention that the air conditioning was not on in the library – and it was about 80 degrees out with high humidity. It did not make my library experience very pleasant.
I am having a simple Spinach smoothie for breakfast this morning, and since you have seen that before, I thought I would show you my lunch and dinner from yesterday….
I brought my lunch and dinner to the library in an effort to save some money – as I only had $2 in my wallet.
Here is my spread
For my mid morning snack I had the String cheese. Lunch was one of the wraps – tuna salad with mixed greens and diced cherry tomatoes. I also ate the apple slices.
My afternoon snack was the Stonyfield Farm Fat Free French Vanilla yogurt with one of the Oats ‘n Dark Chocolate bar crumbled in – that may be one of my new favorite combinations.
Dinner included a hummus and reduced fat cheddar cheese wrap – that also had mixed greens and diced tomatoes inside. I am having the same wrap again for dinner tonight. I rounded out dinner with the Pear Sauce from Trader Joe’s. I need to get back to Trader Joe’s soon – I want more Pear Sauce and Tahini Free Hummus!
My final is tonight and I just finished editing my last paper this morning. 9:00 pm cannot come soon enough!
Green Tip of the Day: Looking for something to do this weekend (if you are nerdy like me…)? Have friends over to watch episodes of the Emmy winning BBC documentary series Planet Earth. It’s the next best thing to being out in nature, and will inspire protective feelings for our planet.

Aren’t wraps the best. I have decided that any sandwich tastes better in a wrap!
Great green tip! I should check that documentary out.
Wow, 11 hours at the library with no AC? I think I would die. Forget it, the AC isn’t even the issue for me- its the library for that much time. I probably never made it past 5 hours even in college haha.
WOW I want to try the oats n’ dark chocolate bar!!! Love TJ’s pear sauce!
oh, i’ve been wanting to try that nature valley granola bar! i’m glad you enjoyed it with the yogurt! i bet it went well together!
Its Wednesday, so you must be all done! Congratulations! That course sounded grueling! Will you continue to take classes? I know you were kind of testing this out…
