A Freezer Treasure

by Heather on November 4, 2009

This afternoon I was presented with the same tray of cookies and brownies that I was last week.  I RESTRAINED MYSELF.

Instead I ate a container of Oikos Vanilla Greek Yogurt.  Perfect.

Earlier in the week, I went treasure hunting in the freezer.  I found a container of Pumpkin Kale Soup I made a few weeks ago

We heated it up and enjoyed it for dinner!

Matt and I are catching up on some DVR’d shows and then going to bed.

I’ll take Greek yogurt over cookies any day. Especially vanilla flavored! If it was cake, it’d be a different story. I can’t resist frosting!

Enjoy your shows!

PUmpkin kale soup?! Sounds delicious!! I just made some fresh kale yesterday, it’s so good, maybe I’ll add it to my butternut squash soup!

Your soup looks so warm and comforting. I need to break out the crock pot!

Hi Shannon – it is definitely becoming soup weather!

Gina – that sounds like a delicious addition. I love kale but don’t eat enough of it!
