Cereal Take Two

by Heather on November 20, 2009

I started off the morning with this

November 20, 2009 001A mix of Cascadian Farm Multi Grain Squares , Quaker Oatmeal Squares and Back to Nature Chocolate Granola.  To my cereal mix I added one banana, a little bit of skim milk and a spoonful of Oikos Vanilla Greek Yogurt.  The yogurt was where this turned sour – although not past its expiration date, the yogurt was almost the texture of ricotta cheese.  I thought it would be ok – it tasted ok but as I was eating my breakfast, I decided the texture was too not right for me.

Onto bowl number two

November 20, 2009 004This one was just right.  The same cereals as the first bowl but with just milk – no yogurt.  Much better.  I don’t normally add granola to my cereal mixtures – I don’t know why not – it’s delicious!

It is pouring rain here – not a good way to start a Friday.  Hopefully the sun will come out later this afternoon in time for my run.  I’m also hoping to catch some of Oprah today – she is announcing the end of her show.  Do you believe it?

I’ve never really watched her show. I think she’s a smart business woman and from what I’ve read, she’s moving the show to her own network or something. I’m sure all her crazy devotees will follow her.

Sorry about the yogurt :(

I don’t believe it. I think she should do the show till she dies, I really do. Bummer about the yogurt!

If I were ever casting a movie, I might pick Oprah to play God. LOL. She’s definitely an amazing business woman.

Are you glad the rain stopped quickly? It was SO nice and warm by 11 when I took my dog out.

Have fun and have a safe trip tomorrow!

Yum! It’s important to start the day with a good cereal mix ;-)
