Ambivalent

by Heather on August 27, 2010

I woke up this morning completely ambivalent about breakfast -  I had no idea what I wanted.  Matt, interestingly, felt the same way.  I think we both realize that we have to work all weekend so any excitement about it being Friday was a fleeting thought.

A “chocolate milkshake” lifted my spirits – in the Magic Bullet went 1 Chocolate Carnation Instant Breakfast packet, 1 tablespoon Soy Nut Butter and frozen banana.  Blend till smooth.

Green Tip of the Day: Pour your favorite eco-friendly concentrated liquid dish detergent into a pretty glass bottle and top with a pour spout designed for a liquor bottle.  The detergent will come out slowly and you won’t “over-serve” and waste detergent.

Yum, the shake looks delicious. Does this keep you full til lunch? I find I have to eat some solid food along with a smoothie/shake or I will be starving at like 9 am haha

I recently started buying soy butter at Whole Foods. I really didn’t like it at first but now I love it, and it works perfectly in my granola! I like the idea of using it for morning shakes too. Yum!
