I woke up at 6:05 am this morning ready for my run. I made it to the bathroom and then laid down on the bathroom floor I was so dizzy and nauseous. That was it for me today. I crawled back in bed and have been splitting my day between the bed and the couch feeling miserable. Feeling dizzy is not something I enjoy.
I got up around 10 am and needed something in my stomach so I made a piece of Pepperidge Farm Whole Wheat Cinnamon with Raisin toast and Soy nut butter.
After laying on the couch for a little while, my tummy started growling so I decided I needed something a little more substantial. I had planned on having overnight oats for breakfast this morning so that is what I had.
Overnight I soaked:
- 1/3 cup organic oats
- Vanilla oat milk (enough to cover the oats)
I love the Vanilla Oat milk because it is slightly sweet and adds a nice flavor to the oats.
This morning I added:
- 1 cup Oikos Vanilla
- 1 mashed banana
- blueberries
- homemade granola
After moving back to the couch and falling asleep for almost 2 hours, I decided to have a late lunch. What is more comforting on a day when you don’t feel well then a PB&J (well in my case, a Soynut Butter and Jelly)?

Of course I needed dessert…a blondie cupcake
