For dinner I met a fellow Boston area blogger at the Whole Foods in Dedham. A food lover’s paradise, that Whole Foods is amazing – and has food available to meet both our dietary needs.
Who did I meet? Shannon from Lessons to Learn! Sadly, I forgot to take a picture of my new friend but head over to her blog and learn more about her – she is a great person.
For dinner, we both picked up some things from the salad bar. Here is my container
A little bit of eggplant parm, grapes, mandarin oranges, salad with roasted garlic!), and a few bites of Caesar salad.
On the side, I got edamame
What a great dinner!
Shannon and I spent close to 2 hours talking – we have so much in common – we even got married the same week! I have been reading Shannon’s blog for a few months – it was so good to get to know some more.
After Shannon and I parted ways, I walked the aisles of Whole Foods and picked up a few things. Whole Foods is a dangerous place. I should not be allowed to meander up and down the aisles.
Today is Tuesday so you know what that means: Think About It/Take Action Tuesday!
I found this great article on How to Eat Less Meat. There were some great suggestions – I really love the idea of using ground porcini mushrooms for flavor.
Check out the ideas. Do any sound appealing to you?

How exciting!! Definitely some great tips in that article! I want to try the one about adding peanut butter to things like chili (since I already have a love affair with pb anyway)!

Glad you and Shannon had a fun dinner. I haven’t been back to the Dedham Whole Foods, but I’d love any excuse to take a trip out there. Especially for that salad bar!
