Dairy Detox ended last night around 9 pm when I wanted nothing more then some Oikos Vanilla Greek Yogurt. I opened the fridge and found a container ALMOST empty – what to do? Answer: Add granola.
Have you tried this granola? It has big chunks of chocolate in it – not too sweet but crunchy. I loved it.
Last night I decided to have some cereal for breakfast so I defrosted some blueberries from the freezer. Today I added them to my bowl with one diced kiwi (I don’t know how some people eat it with the skin on – I tried it and couldn’t stand the texture), and the remainder of my pomegranate seeds.
Then I added the usual cereal suspects: Kashi Island Vanilla, Quaker Oatmeal Squares, and Cascadian Farm Multi Grain Squares.
Plus Rice Milk (now that the box is open, I need to drink it)
Because cereal servings are so small, I like to try to fill my bowl with fruit and then add the cereal – makes me feel like my bowl is really full.
This was a great breakfast – I loved the three different fruits (summery too) and the three different cereals. Three is my lucky number.
Back to work to catch-up on what I missed yesterday – hopefully it isn’t too bad!
