Knowing that I will have a very random eating schedule and probably not the healthiest options, I decided to pack food to have for breakfast – this way I knew I would start off each day at the conference with a healthy meal.
Last week I called the hotel to request a refrigerator for our room so I could have more options for myself. On my way to Hartford yesterday, I stopped at the grocery store and bought some Oikos Vanilla Greek yogurt to put in the fridge.
From home, I brought a kiwi, bananas, the rest of my pomegranate arils and granola.
Breakfast, day 1, was created.
What a great breakfast. I feel like I am starting off my day on the right foot – with a little preparation, it isn’t too hard to eat healthy on the go.
Here are the snacks I have packed in my lunch bag for the day
Apple (brought from home, washed and in a bag), Lifesavers (to satisfy the sweet tooth), apple sauce, two bars, tea, and Emergen-C. I hope this keeps me away from the baked goods and candy that will be floating around…
Day 1 of the conference starts in a few hours – time to get ready!

Way to go to NACA prepared! I swear by Emergen-C. Hope it’s a great conference.
