Today was a day full of perfect timing.
Toast this morning was perfectly toasted.
I made it out for my run – and ran 10 miles without stopping – in 1:37:43. This run was SO much easier than my last 9 mile run. It may have been slower but I only stopped once and that was to cross a street. It is amazing how much being properly hydrated can impact your run. Plus my last mile was my second fastest! Although 1:37:43 may have been slow, I’m going to call that perfect timing.
As I was walking shuffling back through my apartment complex, it started to rain (over 2 1/2 hours earlier than the weather predicted). Perfect timing.
After a LOOONGGG, hot shower (I was FREEZING cold), I enjoyed a perfectly cooked egg in a basket. I would like to add that I put a piece of cheddar cheese on the other side – and that it made this egg in a basket amazing.
I then took a perfect timed nap – a little over an hour. I am still exhausted but hopefully I can function long enough to make a batch of cookies and write out a few Christmas cards. Accomplishing that would make this a perfect day.
