Snacking through the Farmers Market

by Heather on November 24, 2009

This afternoon my parents, Matt and I went to the North Carolina State Farmers Market.

I was in love with the Farmers Market and was sad I couldn’t buy more stuff (we are leaving on Friday).  Matt and I did our fair share of snacking on various samples – I tried a lot of apple samples and homemade jams/butters.  We also tried a lot of salsas and bought a delicious cranberry and regular salsa.  I did also walk away with one vegetable purchase which you will see sometime tomorrow…

I did snap some pictures and thought I would share.

I wish our farmers market was this large and had this big of a variety (also operated year round).

We also picked up my race packet for Thursday and drove the route of the race – lets just say there are quite a few hills.  I almost wish we hadn’t driven it – there is something to say about ignorance…

That looks like an awesome farmers market. Don’t worry about the race, you’ll do great!

I wish I knew of a really good farmers market in the Boston area.

Don’t worry about the race. Hills are a mind game. You’ve been training. You have to pace yourself. You’ll do great!
