I had a great afternoon catching up with my college roomies at my best friend Becky’s baby shower. We ate lots of good food, played some games and watched Becky open about a million presents – she got so much stuff and should be well prepared for the little one’s arrival in March.
For lunch, we started with an amazing soup – I’m not sure exactly what it was but it was great!
I had one piece of chicken, a few bites of rice – I skipped on the green beans though because of the almonds. The chicken wasn’t too try and was grilled very nicely.
What is a baby shower without a cake – this chocolate cake was amazing – very moist!
I skipped on the ice cream since vanilla isn’t my favorite – but believe me, I enjoyed every last bite of that cake!
We snapped a picture of the college roommates – the four of us lived together our senior year and Becky and I lived together junior and senior year.
Krista, me, Becky and Laura – Becky is due in early March.
Around noon, it started to snow. I had no idea of the impending bad weather and in less than 2 hours, it had probably snowed 4 inches.
It took me an extra 45 minutes to get back to my sister’s house – therefore making my time spent in the car in the last 2 days almost 8 hours!
I’m making dinner tonight so I need to get moving – Cole eats around 6:00 pm.
