Three days in a row – can you believe it!?! I got up for the 3rd day this week to go for a run – I only typically run two days in a row but yesterday I realized that I only had one more run to complete Week 7 of my podcast series. I am running a 5k on Saturday so I wanted Friday as a day off – so I figured finish it on Thursday. However, I woke up to this:
In order to get my 55 minute run in and get to my meeting on time, I had to leave pretty early. Well I was ready but the clouds meant it was too dark to start running. I do not feel comfortable running in the pitch black – it kinda creeps me out. I go for a run this afternoon – not my favorite thing to do, but it will work.
Look at what time I was ready to go!
For breakfast I decided on a yogurt/cereal/banana/blueberry mess.
In the bowl went:
- Cheerios
- Kashi Island Vanilla
- Cascadian Farm Multi Grain Squares
- Quaker Oatmeal Squares
- 1/2 cup Oikos Vanilla Greek Yogurt
- Splash of Skim Milk
- Banana
- Blueberries (defrosted in the fridge last night)
What a delicious and filling mess.
I have a meeting at another college this morning and then I have some errands to run for an event on Saturday. Busy morning!

Hi Melissa – I am so excited for your giveaway! I am really trying to increase my yogurt consumption – I heard it boosts your immune system – college kids are definitely germ spreaders!
