I have been feeling run down and tired the last few days and I think it is catching up with me. I woke up this morning feeling exhausted and congested. No run for me. I decided to take it easy and catch up on a few things around here – since I don’t have to go into work until lunch time!
For breakfast I made Cream of Wheat again. In the bowl went 1/2 of a smashed banana and some defrosted blueberries.
I haven’t decided whether or not Cream of Wheat is for me. I enjoy how easy it is to make (microwave). The texture reminds me a little of apple sauce – I like my breakfast to be a little heartier texture-wise. I don’t need to add any sugar or sweetener to regular oatmeal but for some reason Cream of Wheat screams for brown sugar.
A few more topping combinations are needed before the jury will return the verdict.
Any suggestions?
