Our first flight from Raleigh to Philadelphia was rough – it was hot, crowded and turbulent. I was not feeling so hot after that flight so I decided to take a nap during our second flight…much better.
We arrived in Providence on time and our baggage was out super fast. Matt was a little hungry so we stopped at Whole Foods to have some dinner.
I got two salads – one with squash and one with beets – and enjoyed them on top of a bed of mesclun greens.
I also enjoyed a little bit of tuna salad for some protein.
The squash and beet salads were both not so great – wouldn’t get them again. The squash one especially was so seasoned you couldn’t taste the squash.
I am glad to be home and mostly unpacked – we have a busy day tomorrow including picking up Sammy the fish – he has been at my office all week!

Bummer about the WFs food
Maybe they were busy preparing their Thanksgiving feasts they didn’t pay enough attention to their hot/cold bar foods!
That’s unfortunate about the disappointing WF salads… they typically have yummy offerings, but every now and then there is a sub-par dish. Now, if they allowed us to taste-test everything, this wouldn’t happen
