Wafflewich

Twelve hours.  That is how long I slept last night.  I haven’t slept that long in a VERY long time.  My body obviously needed some serious rest and I’m hoping that did the trick.

Matt and I had some waffles for breakfast made with our favorite Hodgson Mill Instabake – we follow the recipe except for swapping out applesauce for the oil.  You will never taste the difference.

I made a wafflewich with my first two waffles – soy nut butter, sliced banana and some chocolate chips

IMG_9610This was excellent – the chocolate chips in the middle melted to a gooey mess.  Mmmmm…

I also had one more waffle the “traditional” way – with butter and syrup.

IMG_9614Matt and I just made our to-do list for the weekend – lots to do!
