I arrived home close to 2 am this morning after a very exciting Halloween Dance at school (because you are reading this VERY EXCITING is sarcastic). I was happy we got to Fall back tonight so in reality, I got that extra hour of sleep and was still up around 9:30 am. Love it.
After some procrastination (trying to figure out a 7 mile running route, adding some new songs to my Ipod), I enjoyed my LAST Fig Walked into a Bar.
And then I was off. I had brought some Gummi Bears with me in case I needed some energy – I didn’t end up using them.
I never HAD to stop – except to cross some streets. I would say the most I stopped was for a minute – I ran a lot faster then I expected and was really excited about my time.
My last mile was my fastest! Take that Week 3 of Half Marathon Training – I’ve kicked you to the curb.
After a much needed shower, I enjoyed some brunch. Oikos Vanilla Greek Yogurt, a Kiwi, some grapes and some granola (a combination of granola, homemade granola and Grape Nuts)
Unfortunately I have a little work I need to do today + some laundry = a very exciting Sunday.
