Whiffle Waffles

This morning started with cleaning out our spare freezer – it is the start of Christmas cooking baking season.  We tend to make a lot of cookies and then freeze them for the holiday.  I have planned a week’s worth of meals primarily from our freezer so please bear with me – they aren’t going to be very exciting.

Then it was time for brunch – we decided on some waffles made with Insta Bake.  We made the recipe as is except we substituted apple sauce for the oil.

Also in our waffles are some mini chocolate chips – I love chocolate chip waffles.

My first two waffles were topped with a little bit of buttah

After brunch, Matt and I set up Sammy’s new condo tank.  It looks glorious – it needs to sit overnight to let the water come to room temperature.  Sammy is very excited for his new home.

Time to get moving – have to work tonight and go to the supermarket this afternoon.
